Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to RBP Solar ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our solar panel products and installation services ("Services"). By engaging with our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Solar Panel Sales & Installation

• All solar panel systems are sold with manufacturer warranties as specified in your contract
• Installation timelines are estimates and subject to weather conditions and regulatory approvals
• Customers are responsible for obtaining necessary permits unless included in our service package
• System performance estimates are based on optimal conditions and historical data

3. Payment Terms

• A 30% deposit is required to commence work on residential installations
• Commercial projects may require customized payment schedules
• Final payment is due upon completion and customer inspection approval
• Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing:

• Full refund if cancelled before equipment ordering (less any site assessment fees)
• 50% refund after equipment ordered but before delivery
• No refund after equipment delivery to site
• Custom cancellation terms may apply for commercial projects

5. Warranties

• Equipment Warranty: 10-25 years depending on manufacturer specifications
• Workmanship Warranty: 5 years on installation quality
• Performance Warranty: 90% of rated output for 10 years, 80% for 25 years
• Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation

6. Maintenance Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Keep solar panels clean and free of debris
• Notify RBP Solar immediately of any system faults or damage
• Allow reasonable access for maintenance and warranty service
• Not modify the system without prior written approval

7. Limitation of Liability

RBP Solar shall not be liable for:

• Acts of nature including hail, lightning, or extreme weather events
• Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Consequential damages including lost energy production
• Any liability exceeding the contract price of the system

8. Government Subsidies

• RBP Solar assists with subsidy applications but makes no guarantees of approval
• Customers remain responsible for any subsidy repayment if terms are violated
• Subsidy amounts may affect system sizing and final pricing

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiations between parties
• Mediation in Haldwani, Uttarakhand if negotiation fails
• Legal proceedings in Uttarakhand courts as last resort

10. Changes to Terms

RBP Solar reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
